Ugh so we hate the way our hair looks and feels in the winter. Dull and dry (and yes our scalp gets itchy-yikes dandruff) and definitely a major downer, we miss that shine and balance from the summer. No worries, we’re taking some of the most nourishing, moisturizing and repairing ingredients and fusing them together to create our own Shine & Soothing Hair Mask.
All you need are the following!
2 Cups of Pumpkin.
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
1 tablespoon of honey
1 tablespoon of yogurt
Pumpkins are loaded with minerals such as potassium and zinc. These assist in strengthening hair by promoting regrowth. Zinc for example helps maintain collagen thus leading to healthy glowy hair.
Coconut is all about moisture!!!
Honey adds that luster and glow (as well as hydration)
Yogurt is beyond soothing and moisturizing for hair and scalp ( adios dandruff and an itchy scalp).
The zinc and it’s lactic acid properties help stimulate blood circulation, which aids growth.
Boosting Shine and Moisture!
Fuse in a blender 2 cups of cooked and chopped Pumpkin (basically puree) with coconut, honey and yogurt until you create a smooth paste. Apply to damp hair and let it do its magic for 15 to 20 min ( we recommend incorporating a cap during this process) Wash and rinse with your favorite shampoo and conditioner and Voila you’re set to style as you wish.
